These are works produced with a curiosity about the gap between past and present that are combined on the front page of the Al Ahram newspaper and in a Mobinil advertisement.
In the video Ahsan Nas (The Best People) the catchy soundtrack (3 minutes long) from the advertisement is replaced with the original song (6 minutes long). Then the advertisement's video is matched up with the original song. The video is comprised of the entire video from the advertisement but cut up and placed across the length of the original song. Black sections fill the gaps. |
